Frequently asked questions
Who can use the Worldstar dealer tools?
The Site Planner, estimates, invoices, spec sheets and dealer dashboard are for approved Worldstar dealers. The Free Site Planner is open to anyone with a free Worldstar account.
How do I become a Worldstar dealer?
Apply on the dealer registration page. If you already have a Worldstar account, go to My Account > Upgrade Account. You can also email sales@worldstarcctv.com.
Are the tools free?
The Free Site Planner is free for everyone with a Worldstar account. The dealer tools come with an approved Worldstar dealer account. For details on the dealer program, email sales@worldstarcctv.com.
Can my customers see my cost or profit?
No. Profit on an estimate is shown only to you. Customers see the prices you set, and a plan shared with a customer shows the layout without prices.
Is my customer information private?
Yes. Customer details on your estimates and plans are encrypted with a key that only you set. Worldstar will never contact your customers.
Where do I find the tools after I log in?
Open My Account. The Dealer Tools section of the menu lists the Site Planner, Estimates, Invoices and Spec Sheets, and the Guides section links to every tutorial.
